Client Installation Guide

This page explains how to install the specific version 3.6.0 (the last official online version) of the game client on Android devices, along with prevention methods against automatic updates from official stores.

Since the original servers are offline, you must run version 3.6.0 to connect to private server instances (such as Sparkle).

Method 1: Sideloading via Third-Party APK

Sideloading is the easiest and most direct way to get the game client if you do not have access to your previous download history on Google Play.

  1. Obtain the APK: Download the 3.6.0 version of the APK from a reputable third-party distributor.
    • APKPure: Known for hosting verified, clean original APKs.
    • APKMirror: Another reliable source for original application packages.
  2. Enable Unknown Sources: Go to your Android Settings -> Apps -> Special app access -> Install unknown apps, and toggle authorization for your browser or file manager.
  3. Install the APK: Open the downloaded .apk file and confirm the installation.

If you have previously downloaded or owned the game under a Google account, you can pull the official 3.6.0 package directly from Google's servers using Aurora Store, an open-source alternative Google Play client.

Step 1: Manual Version Download

  1. Install and open Aurora Store (available via F-Droid or their official site).
  2. Log in using the Google Account that originally owned or downloaded the game.
  3. Search for the game client page.
  4. Tap the three-dot overflow menu in the top-right corner.
  5. Select Manual Download.
  6. Enter the official 3.6.0 version code. (Note: You can verify the exact version code of 3.6.0 on catalog sites like APKMirror or within active community databases).
  7. The store will fetch the authentic 3.6.0 package from Google servers and prompt you to install it.

Disabling Automatic Updates

To prevent the system from overwriting your fixed 3.6.0 installation with updates (or cleanups), you must block auto-updates.

Option A: Via Google Play Store

  1. Open Google Play Store and search for the game.
  2. Tap the three-dot overflow menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Uncheck Enable auto-update.

Option B: Blacklisting in Aurora Store

If you use Aurora Store:

  1. Open Aurora Store and go to the Updates tab or My Apps.
  2. Long-press the game from the list.
  3. Select Add to blacklist. (This ensures "Update All" actions will safely bypass this app).
