Server Limitations

This document lists the current known limitations, incomplete features, and intended design constraints in the Sparkle server emulator (as of March 2026).

Game Mechanics & Features

Ability Tree (ことわりの樹)

  • Scroll Limit: Each ability tree scroll can only be applied to one character per scroll.
  • Official Parity: This behavior matches the official game client, where ability tree scrolls were strictly limited or paid items.
  • Cheat Prevention: Using cheat commands to bypass this constraint is ineffective and will generate server error logs. There are no plans to modify this behavior.

Town Schedules

  • Static Character Placement: Town character schedules are currently static, meaning characters remain inside the player room at all times.
  • Future Support: Dynamic schedule generation (similar to Hiyori's implementation) is technically possible but not yet integrated into Sparkle.

Room System

  • Sub-rooms: Sub-room functionality is not yet implemented. Support for sub-rooms is planned for a future update.

User Missions

  • Status: The user mission system is currently disabled.
  • Development Status: Mission processing logic is complex and will be developed after higher-priority features are finalized.
  • Purchase Flows: In-app purchase flows (iTunes / Google Play) are disabled, as Sparkle is a custom third-party server emulator.
  • Product Catalog Reconstruction: Because product catalogs could not be dumped from official server responses, shop items were recreated manually using screenshot archives.
  • Reporting Discrepancies: If you spot inaccuracies in shop offerings and have official screenshot references, please report them to the maintainers.

Gift Box & Present List

  • Overflow Items: Present box features work, but rewards that exceed capacity limits (e.g., Kirara Point overflows) are currently dropped.

Creamate Community Quests

  • Status: Creamate Community Quests are currently unimplemented.

Event Quests

  • Data Availability: Event quest systems are functional, but quest data prior to the final game event is missing. As a result, only a select number of events are currently available to play.
